A large calf ranch in Idaho USA, housing tens of thousands of calves. They are transferred as newborns and will stay in this confinement until they are old enough to be put in calf pens or transferred to feed yards or heifer facilities. The heifers will finish 'growing out' until they are old enough to go back to the dairy once again, and the steers are sold for human consumption.
